NetSuite Impact – Comments from Users

The other day I wrote about implementing CRM, NetSuite and the WIFM principle.  It’s very important that you think from the end users perspective “What’s in it for me.”   After writing that post I asked, via email, a number of users what was the first thing that came to their head when asked, “What impact has NetSuite had on your day to day”

Here are all the responses, unedited and my comments.  It’s great to see such positive answers. 

Sales Manager - When I have questions, I now have 1 location to get the answer.  Netsuite

Sales Rep - Ease of use/mind, Central location for data (data hub), one stop shop, always uptodate with the latest info, kicks Goldmines ass. Biggest impact- saving me time

Sales Rep – I would have to say that using NetSuite has made me more organized than I ever thought possible. The sales forecasting is extremely helpful as it keeps me focused on the right opportunities and I always have everything I need right there in front of me.

Training Sales Rep - Biggest Impact I see is ease of accessing info for quoting and also processing them – It’s great the way the info gets populated automatically rather than manually, big time saver. I don’t really know how we got along without NetSuite.

Software Demo Guy - One spot to do your work. Work from any computer without missing a beat. Constant feedback from how we’re doing makes it quick to adjust our path.

Tech Support Rep - Once Place to go for all of the info I need, accessible from anywhere….

Tech Support Manager - I can not envision how we used to handle our CRM and support cases prior to NetSuite. – It’s that good!

Training Coordinator – Being newer to the company the ability NS has to logically store and organize information has allowed me to learn about the clients and their history rapidly. This equips me with the information I need to contact clients knowing the larger picture and our service appears seamless. This is the biggest impact. Also, the ease of generating reports and searches lets me pull information I need to assist my team in sales. For example, pulling information on who has attended previous training so we may contact them for upcoming events. NetSuite has impressed me with it’s capabilities from day 1 compared to the CRM software I have used in the past, which was much more limited in navigation and information organization.

Implementation Consultant - One stop shopping

Implementation Consultant - Netsuite has reduced the amount of time I spend sorting out business expenses. No more playing around with “Bandit Spreadsheets”. For business travelers, web access through Netsuite’s easy to use interface takes much of the hassle out of this tedious process.

The Boss - Easy access to data and reports

 

Conclusions

The main points that recur with the NetSuite users above are:  One System for all required information, Easy to Access, Saves Time, and Keeps me Organized.  Now of course we can think up a million different ways that NetSuite or any other application can drive value in an organization but these are the things that people who use the system care about.  Use that information to drive your thinking when planning your system requirements.
