Happy Holidays!

Everyone here in the Audaxium office is rolling out for the Holidays.  Before I do the same I’d like to say that I hope everyone has a great holiday.

I know that, for many people, 2008 was a tough year. The holiday period might just be a bit more somber than usual in some cases.  However, I think that for us all, this break will remind us that the most important things in life don’t appear on your NetSuite dashboard.  That is unless you have a picture of your kids up there!  Or your spouse!

2009 promises to be an amazing year.  There are improvements to be made, and a world of opportunities before us.  We’ll have fun projects to work on, and new relationships to forge.  Forget resolutions and half hearted commitments, 2009 is going to be the year of the recovery and the ride up is going to be a lot of fun.

Have a safe, warm, and happy holiday.

Rob

PS I’ll be posting over the holidays but there will be some reposts from the old blog.

NetSuite Information Online

Comments Off

For those of you out there who love NetSuite, or even just like it, there are a couple of spots online you should check out.

First is the Official NetSuite Fan Page on Facebook. Become a fan here and reach out to other users.

Next is the unofficial NeSuite user page on Facebook.  You can check it here. You can yell “NetSuite Sucks” all you want but you’ll mainly find some nice people who will offer some advice.  There’s a lot of help out there if you need it.

If you’re really keen you can subscribe to the NetSuite youtube channel.  Of course there are other NetSuite videos on Youtube that you’ll see there, some are pretty good.

Of course, you could just subscribe to this Blog and I’ll keep you updated with all the latest!

If you haven’t already, I suggest that you listen to the NetSuite Podcasts.  I’ve got the feed up on the right.  If your thinking of buying NetSuite they’re a good spot to learn more about where NetSuite management is coming from and where they are focused.  I’ve found them useful.  Much better than trying to read a press release.

Why ecommerce customers should consider NetSuite

Comments Off

This video is a nice little overview of why a company should consider NetSuite for it’s ecommerce needs.  The video is 3 minutes long so give it a look.

Really it all comes down to integration.  You can make some very nice ecommerce sites with NetSuite and sell a whole bunch of stuff online, but the real value is having everything buckled together from inventory, to financials to customer support, if required.  If you can benefit from having your customer managed all in one system, then take a look at NetSuite.

Better yet, take a look at the problem from the customers perspective.  Does your customer need to talk to multiple people at your company to get help or figure out what’s going on? There’s nothing more annoying than hearing “That’s not my department.”

This is to say nothing of the value of not having to maintain integrations between multiple systems.  Been there, done that.  It’s not something you do if you don’t have to.

Anyway, check it out.

What’s an Audaxium?

We seem to get one of three reactions when we tell people what the name of our company is.  It’s either “Cool Name!” which is by far the most common response, “What’s That?” which is about 1/3 of the time,  and “Don’t you think people will think you are audacious?” which has happened a couple of times.

Audax is Latin for Bold.  The ium turns it into a physical element.  The physical realisation of being bold.

and the url was available…

Seriously though, we want to be bold and help customers who want the same thing.  Customers who want to adopt NetSuite don’t want to be behind the curve.  They want to be out front, making great strides in how they manage their business.  We’re the team that is going to show them the way and be there to help them.  We’re the NetSuite Pathfinders, lighting the way.

As far as being audacious, we do want to be all those positive things that come with being bold.  Foolhardy we’re not.  We’re careful planners.  But once you’ve got the plan it’s time to forge ahead and do great things.

So this is it.  The first day of the rest of my life.

Things are progressing for Audaxium.  We’ve got some phones dedicated to us, email is good to go, and we’ve got some server space to get us going.  Everyone is very excited for the January official launch.

If you’ve found this blog you’re likely coming over from www.netsuiteguy.com.  Thanks so much for clicking on over.  Be sure to subscribe to this feed to keep up to date on what’s going on at Audaxium and to get the latest NetSuite commentary.

Thanks a bunch.
